That plan gets my vote!!!!! That bread pudding though....

Re: Anyone have no interest?

I have never had any desire to go to Universal. It has always looked very boring to me. Am I the only person to never go anywhere but Disney for all their vacations? The only time we've gone off property in Florida was to go on the Disney Cruise. A friend of mine went on a "once in a lifetime ...

I agree! From NYC it's a 2 hour flight and I'm on property by 11am! I've thought of driving down a few times but JetBlue makes it so convenient for me! ;) ;)

Re: What is the FIRST thing you do at WDW?

Great question! Disclaimer - my answers are based on pre-covid trips since we haven't been since the pandemic. We have a arrival day itinerary that is our go-to. We always fly in early and rent a car. We head straight to the resort and try our luck and getting an early check-in. Successful or not, w...

100% Agree with you there! I like the salmon entree and then going upstairs to a window table and just taking a nice break! My fave meal and the view from the 2nd floor!! :D :D

Re: Favorite Ice Cream (Besides Dole Whips)

I LOVE the ice cream at Ghirardelli at DIsney Springs! The smell of chocolate emanating from the store puts me in a trance that I can only get out of once I eat a chocolate sundae.

Re: Name a time when a Cast Member made some magic for you! Small or large

Back when there were paper fastpasses, on the last evening of our trip, we used a fastpass for Soarin' at EPCOT. While we were waiting in line, the CM started talking to my son and she asked how our vacation was going etc. In the course of that conversation, my son had mentioned that this was our la...

Re: When did you first visit Walt Disney World?

First time was 1999 and haven't looked back. We thought of returning while we were still on property!! The rooms at Caribbean Beach were about $90/night!  I tell you what though, after all of this "stuff" going on, my next trip has to be for about a month just to catch up!! ...

Re: I recommend moving!

I agree with you!!! Would you talk to my wife for me? LOL. Snowing and freezing right now in CT and I plan on purchasing a townhouse or condo once I retire to go as I please. I'm with you! 11 years until I can retire, but I'm very very happily leaving CT, and it's insane taxes, far far behind. Whil...

I have several but my favorites are walking into Caribbean Beach Resort and The Polynesian and getting hit with those awesome scents. It's just another way that Disney gets you engrossed in their product - but I love it!
