Re: Best Fireworks Views Outside the Parks?

Any spot along the water at Poly is great to watch the fireworks, they also pipe in the music so you aren't missing the audio portion. Only downside to views outside of the park is that you won't be able to see any castle projections.

Re: Coronado Springs ??

Loved Coronado Springs. I pinned the mobile check in text we received with the building/room so we could request it again. It was a great location, near stairs, very close to a bus stop and even though it was a holiday weekend we didn't get a lot of traffic around our room. It was not close to the f...

I'd take the popcorn that is at the very bottom of the popcorn machine at the end of the day at this point in time just because that means I'm there!!

Re: Anyone stay at the Swan?

We stayed at the Swan in October, and don't have any major complaints. The walking distance to/from Epcot was nice. The walk to HS was a bit longer but in the evening we took the Skyliner back to Epcot and walked from there. The Swan does have Queen size beds, the Dolphin only has full if that is an...

Re: My Laughing Place

We have 2 laughing places. First, the rendition of Blood on the Saddle at the Country Bear Jamboree gets us every time. I remembered it from when I went there as a kid and I told my kids how hilarious it was. We were pleasantly surprised that it was still part of the show. Just before that part of ...

Re: Pecos Bills

Those who have eaten at Pecos Bills what's your take? Mexican is the whole family's favorite so I'm leaning towards this one for one day of our trip. It's not TX Mexican food if that's what you're hoping for. Think more along the lines of loaded nachos or fajita tacos that you'd get at a sporting e...

Yes, that's a good one! In Tomorrowland, I prefer the one by Space Mountain. I know this is highly controversial but I don't like the Tangled bathrooms.
The restrooms by the Epcot Experience are a family favorite, out of the way and off a main path.

Yes, just check in your MDE account that they are there and still active. If they are, you're good to go!

Re: Magic band question

You could get one of the $5 bands and then look for magic band "skins" on etsy. They are type of sticker that you can use to customize the band. You might have a lot more options that way also.

Don't wait until 7 am to log in, have your phone already logged in to the app prior to 7. Remember that my phone might say 7 before your phone does, you can have someone in your party on the time.gov website to know official time and use that for guidance. Some people advise to check your connection...

When younger my now 15 year old would buy some to collect and some that she didn't really like just so she could trade. Now it's definitely a collection, with lanyards hanging in her room full of them. I think over spring break I'm going to do a project to get all of our pins displayed better.

We like the dole whip floats, we've tried the pineapple, strawberry, citrus and key lime. The least fave of those was the key lime, currently known as Peter Pan. It is lime dole whip with sprite and a chocolate feather. I like the Kakimora which is coconut soft serve with blue curacao, pineapple jui...

Re: Airport Transportation Suggestions

In October we used Mears. We weren't getting in until after 11 and I didn't want to take chances with waiting on Uber or Lyft. The driver was waiting for us in the baggage claim area, he had a nice car with plenty of room. If you search you can find a discount but even with discount it was pricey. L...
