Re: Favorite Theme Park

EPCOT is my fave park. I think it has something to do with being older  There's something classic about it and it stands out to me. It's definitely much more low-key than MK. I think it has to be with Sorain and Test Track being my fave rides. I can't even say I like it because of the "ad...

Re: Genie+ ****?

Are you saying that you could get shut out for getting food? Are you saying that I won’t be able to walk into Columbia Harbor House and place an order? Not totally sure, but I believe all locations have like 1 or 2 walk up order locations. Last month, whenever we ordered from Casey's, we did mobile...

Genie+ From Afar We are scheduled to visit WDW in January (22) and are watching, with great interest, how the roll-out of Genie + is going. Looking at today's Tip Board...at around 10:15AM EST, I am very surprised (but perhaps should not be) that the vast majority of pickup times for food at most v...

Re: Resort Magic Time /Deluxe Magic Hours/NO 1 Day Stays

Lastly, Walt Disney World added 1 restriction. From now, till Dec-Jan 2022. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2021/10/12/1-night-stays-at-disney-world-resorts-unavailable-until-at-least-early-december/ They will not permit guest reservations for FOR ONLY ONE NIGHT STAYS AT RESORTS. Re: Are Annual passes worth it for children under 10

So sister-in-law is moving to Orlando and we are thinking about getting annual passes for when we visit her. We have 2 children one is 6 and the other is 2. So the question I'm asking is it cheaper for us to buy the 6 year old a ticket each time we go or just go ahead and get an annual pass for her...

Re: Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios ends Virtual Queue 9/23/21

So what are the options for getting on the ride now? Standby only, but the wait times haven't been horrible. They were worst the first day, now many times when I look throughout the day, it is 65-75 minutes. That's not bad at all for a marquee ride. When I was at WDW last week, too, every real wait...

Re: Art of Animation

Just got home from AoA. We stayed in a Lion King suite, which was great. Very nicely refurbed, tons of space. Only gripe is the fridge did not have a little freezer section. We had watched a vlog showing a mini fridge with the freezer section in a Lion King suite, and banked on it, buttttttt that wa...

Re: Disney World Annual Passes for sale again starting 9/8/21!

Disney is really pushing things a bit much but this is not as bad as I had feared. I've always had the Platinum pass so this is a really small increase for me personally. The ones getting screwed here are the DVC members. I was considering becoming a DVC member until this month but that's gone now....

Re: Disney World Annual Passes for sale again starting 9/8/21!

Taking stuff away, raising the price, yeah that isn't great. But at the end of the day, it will still save me over a thousand dollars a year on 3 trips, so it's worth it for me. I'll gladly pay the $99 for PhotoPass, instead of $169 per trip

It doesn't say on Oct 1. It says "returning in time for" so the APs will be on sale prior. I'm hoping for it to be early Sept so that I can buy them and put my Sept trip $ towards them

If there is Skyliner service, then there are no buses to those parks. If the line is down for any reason, weather or mechanical, then they will run buses.

Re: Buses from Pop

I didn’t have the greatest experience back in September with it. Line was long but they kept bringing more double buses. I’d anticipate like 30 minutes if the hotel is full September was BRUTAL. But fresh open and covid, it was their learning stage. Everything is moving smooth now with tons of buses

Re: Adding an extra night

Have you called WDW and/or the resort and explained the situation? I think they would be as accommodating as possible. If you can't add it online, it will be the same. So you need to add 1 day on the start or end. The killer is if there is a deal going on, you won't get it because single days don't...

Go to guest services. Some of the shops have kiosks and CM's can help you. Know what time you rode, roughly, and they will cycle you through all the pics of the ride during that time frame.

Re: love the mask rule change whats next?

My guess would be that they're working hard for an Independence Day return for the fireworks. That would give them enough time now to get everything working right, and do some real-life testing beforehand, and make a big splash (no pun intended) on the 4th. It also would allow almost 3 months for &...
