Re: Off property rentals
Renting off-property will likely be much cheaper than staying on-property. However, there are additional things to factor in when staying off-property, most notably; transportation. When staying on property, transportation to all the parks is free. Airport transfers to your resort may also be inclu...

Off property rentals
Hello all. I am not sure if there is a thread devoted to this topic but I figured I would throw this out. I am planning (tentatively) a trip to WDW next year and I am thinking about renting a house. Has anyone ever done this before? What was your experience? What website did you use? Would you recom...

Re: Anyone Else Pin Collectors?
This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know if there is any kind of Disney Pin club? Club, as in paying a certain amount per month and receiving pins from the parks directly? It’s hard at this time to get to the parks and there are so many wonderful pins that I would love to buy. Their websi...

Re: Rides ok for and not ok for pooh sized guests
My first time going to WDW was 2012 and I was about 350 then. I am 6'4" so I have to consider leg room as well as the volume I take up. At that time, I was able to get on every ride I wanted including anything with a lap bar. Yeah, it only went down a click or two, but as long as it does not co...

Re: Anyone Else Pin Collectors?
I have been to WDW 3 times and just purchased pins based on resorts and rides I went on. It wasn’t until after that I found out about pin trading. I felt so silly.
Now I see all these really cool pins and wish I could purchase them. lol

Re: Pop Century!
Now that Pop has the Skyliner is there, it is my understanding that buses to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are once an hour (roughly). Has anyone else noticed if that means buses to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are delayed as well? I have family members that do not want to ride the Skyliner a...

I keep seeing people mentioning that spicy chicken sandwich at Sleepy Hollow. I’ve seen a couple of pics and videos. That really looks good.

Re: Name a time when a Cast Member made some magic for you! Small or large
2011 was my first time ever going to WDW. On our first full day, I was wearing my First Time button in Hollywood Studios. Just next to the Sorcerer’s hat, there was an ice cream cart. I asked to get a Mickey Bar and because it was my first time, she gave it to me for free. That made all the differen...

I would say Toy Story Land, but I have not been to WDW since 2014. I would have to say Frontierland. I just like the idea of that time period.

Re: Who is going for the 50th?
I'll be going in November 2021 for 11 nights. My longest stay so far to make up for not going in 2020. Going Solo and staying at Pop. I hope a little more magic returns by then. I'm also hoping Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party will resume along with fireworks, parades and characters. I miss the ...

Re: Who is going for the 50th?
Our next trip will be in January (2022)...and we were just there a couple of weeks ago. Thought we'd pass along that we didn't see any merchandise celebrating the anniversary...asked some castmembers...they think that Disney may be holding off until October. May have to keep an eye on the Disney St...

Re: CRUISE
When Disney re-opens cruise bookings beware 85% of them will fill up within 12 to 18 hours. Just as fast as is possible. Word is they are starting to recall crew members so maybe that's a sign bookings are on the horizon. Disney is THE most tight lipped about their intentions of all the cruise line...

Re: CRUISE
I have never been on a cruise (unless you count the ferry that takes you to Alcatraz). Has anyone ever gone solo? Is it worth the price going by yourself? My wife can’t always make the cruise at the last minute so I sometimes I ask the travel services if there are any solo inclusive cruises. Not si...

Re: Have you drove to WDW
I've been to WDW 3 times and all three times we drove from the Charlotte area. It takes about 8 hours, so we leave in the evening and stop in Savannah. That is the halfway point.

Re: Pop Century!
Awesome! We have been there before but the last few times have been at moderate or deluxe resorts but since we haven't been since May 2019 we're staying somewhere more cost effective like Pop to spend more of the budget in park. I just wasn't sure if anything has changed but I definitely appreciate...

Hey Everyone!! My family and I will be at Pop in the beginning of June!! Any advice on the best things to do!? We'll be there 7 days! Have you ever been there before? The theming is really great. I enjoyed getting up just as the sun was coming up and walking around the resort and wandering over to ...

Re: Will the Disney Dining Plan come back?
If they increase capacity then i would think more places to eat will open (looking at you Casey's Corner!) so maybe just having a quick service DP for now? What do you think the number of open restaurants is at the moment? Quick service vs. sit down? If the quick service has the majority, then I co...

Re: Pop Century!
We stayed at Pop in September, and I wasn't overly impressed. We normally stay off property, and the little rooms were a bit crammed with only 2 adults and 3 year old. We also did not anticipate the massive lines in the morning for the buses or the Skyliner (and this is when parks were ghost towns)...

Re: Will the Disney Dining Plan come back?
That is a very good point. If there are a lot of restaurants and stalls closed, the DDP might not be worth it right now.tallguy001 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 7:27 am We enjoy it as well and hope it returns for our trip in June, though that looks unlikely. I think they will wait until most of the restaurants open again.

Re: Will the Disney Dining Plan come back?
I've noticed the snack credit logos are still on menus & there was some sort of DDP anyalist job recently advertised. Disney make a lot of money from the DDP so it will come back at some point. I like the plan, i like not having to budget personally & i do look into maximising the plan as i...
