Re: Legoland Florida

Has anyone checked out LegoLand's Peppa Pig addition? Aiming for a WDW trip before the 50th celebration ends and I have a Peppa Pig obsessed toddler and want some thoughts of if it's worth it for a day trip. I already watched some videos and seems like it's a bit lackluster, but would love to know y...

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom

For those thinking of going this year, I wanted to provide some insight. This is my first time being an annual passholder (as I bought in 2019 for 2020 which was extended for 2021). I've been going pretty regularly and there has been an uptick in hiring / employees which seems to also increased capa...

Re: Your Recommendation Please!

I haven't been to Liberty Tree Tavern in a long time and never went to the other two. I tried to do Skipper Canteen but it was in the weird time where they weren't taking reservations. From the reviews online and that of friends/family who have gone to all three, they like Liberty Tavern the best an...

Knoebels 95th Anniversary

Hi all! For those interested in Knoebels this year, I went the Sunday of opening weekend and it was a pretty light attendance on a nice day. Almost everyone was masked pretty well and rides were marked to be socially distanced. For those people who weren't abiding by the social distance markings, we...

Was 100% going to do the same one and even took the screenshot last night! :) The "golden hour" and the castle especially the aspects being added for the 50th really make it pop.

Re: The Holy Land Experience park in Orlando

For those interested in this type of experience and plan to visit Hersheypark in Pennsylvania you may want to plan an extra day and drive 45 min. south to Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA https://www.sight-sound.com/ I've been to a few shows and the acting, live animals, and stage production...

Re: POLL: Who is your favorite star wars character?

Thanks for sharing! Ewoks were my childhood favorite and even had my son dress up as one for his first Halloween. If they ever bring Star Wars Weekend back I'll have to brave the warmer May-June temperatures for it.

Re: CBR or AOA?

We stayed at both during our trip which was after the skyliner opened and with CBR being the hub for the skyliner it helped a lot. If you come from AOA you have to get off the skyliner, walk down a ramp and then join a long line (if you start when the park opens) to then get on the skyliner to Holly...

Re: Be our Guest yay or nay

My husband and I went there when it first opened as Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites. We decided that we both get a must do restaurant each time we go to Disney World for our own family traditions ... and I chose this. Granted now they increased the price and it's two sit downs vs. one on...

Wishing you and your family all of the best on your upcoming trip. While I can't assist with the bit of magic, I do have some advice. Half-way down the following page gives directions on emailing disney with special diet requests. A family member has celiac disease and we were able to plan ahead and...

Re: Hersheypark

It's been a few years since I went during the spring/summer, but can say it really depends. If you are a "do it all" person, then 2 days would be needed; however, if you are okay to miss a few then one day might work if you do some of the external to the park things the day before or after...

Re: Anyone stay at the Swan?

I've stayed at both the Swan and Dolphin a few times for a conference, but had the added bonus of a Disney Day or two. They renovated in 2017 so the main lobby area and rooms are up to date. I agree with others as for transportation goes. If it's only 2 of you and you are coming from the airport Mea...

Re: Saratoga Springs with Toddler in June

I can chime in on the almost 2 year old as we went during COVID-19 right before my son turned 2 (to avoid any mask-wearing issues of him wearing it and we had nonrefundable tickets from a conference). If your just under 2 year old is not wearing a mask and is tall for their age, I would suggest havi...

Sorry for the delay as life has been hectic for sure... We are actually in the Allentown area and have season passes for Dorney Park. We bought them for 2020 and got to go for the rest of 2019 "for free" after Labor Day. With the pandemic we didn't go last year but they extended all 2020 ...

We really enjoy Christmas time at Hershey and go pretty much every year (not this year though)... Every once in awhile we'll also go during the spring/summer.

Re: Traveling with Toddlers

I actually think 1.5 years is a perfect time as they are tiny enough to still carry in a backpack carrier if needed. I was to go to a conference end of March 2020 in Orlando. My son has some minor medical conditions so we decided we'd all go along so I could take care of him at night and others duri...
