Re: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
I am disappointed as well we are going to be there at the beginning of September! Missing it by less than a month🙄🤦🏻♀️😝 I know it is a slow roll back into normal and they are being cautious, but I wonder how many people will put off going till after October at this point? Or even till 2022. With H...

Re: Disney Skyliner
If you are scheduled to be there at rope drop crowds shouldn't be an issue. Assuming everything is operating normally. Transportation demands are heaviest mid morning.

The 'new' Epcot entry plaza is perfect! Just needs an active monorail to complete the setting.
The new SSE projections will be icing on the 50th Anniversary cake.
Major kudos to TDO and Imagineering.

Re: New Florida Residents and Annual Passes
They recently stated that park reservations are happening through next year. No doubt a function of an unknown future and the 50th. My personal opinion is that the old system may have been effected by the law of diminishing returns. No doubt they are using the current situation as an opportunity to...

Re: Thoughts on Disney doing construction projects now and making a "bet" for the 50th celebration (long post)
After seeing pics of the new entry plaza sans any promotional banners, signs, topiary, and such it occurred to me this should be the standard. Any promotions could be done on the approach to the ticket booths and after passing under SSE. Do guests really need the latest festival hyped up in the entr...

Re: Thoughts on Disney doing construction projects now and making a "bet" for the 50th celebration (long post)
Yeah I just can't envision them NOT doing an extra long celebration, purely due to COVID. But even if we didn't have COVID, I still think we would have seen a longer than usual celebration to continue to maximize attendance. Obviously if COVID didn't have though, we can probably safely assume a lot...

Re: Thoughts on Disney doing construction projects now and making a "bet" for the 50th celebration (long post)
I hope you’re right that they continue to celebrate the 50th into 2022. We’re in New York. With all the restrictions, we probably won’t be able to visit this year. Yeah I just can't envision them NOT doing an extra long celebration, purely due to COVID. But even if we didn't have COVID, I still thi...

Re: Thoughts on Disney doing construction projects now and making a "bet" for the 50th celebration (long post)
This downturn came at a bad time for wdw. However it is clear to me they have been very strategic and will turn this into a very positive outcome in the long term. Firstly, they are retooling every aspect of operations. From management at TDO, to Imagineering to F&B and everything else. Second, ...

Exceeded my modest expectations. Kudos to the design team for making it work with what were likely limited funds.Kim*theParkWorld wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 5:46 pm I love how they've updated these. So colorful and we have a great way to find where pictures are located!

If I recall correctly they stopped the program around 2007 so likely they will be there at least 6 More years.

Re: Epcot: Leave a legacy
Title seems generic to the subject so decided to add my opinion on the project. This was never going to be highly budgeted due to likely not being in place by the end of the decade. Disney was obligated to add the tiles back contractually. All that said, they did a good job for what it is though I l...

Once Innoventions west is razed and SSE has the new lighting design (safe assumption) people will only be asking what took them so long.

Remove Laugh Floor from Tomorrowland.
Remove JIYI at Epcot.
Remove Animation offices at the Studios.
Eliminate Dinorama from Dinoland.
Refill each with legitimate Imagineering concepts.
