Hagrids motor bike

Don't run to do Hagrids motor bike right away in the morning. It has the longest lines for the first 2 hours. After the "mad rush" is over...we waited 15 minutes. The wait SAID 50.

After we got off, cast members gave us their secret. Never go there right away. It's ALWAYS the longest wait of the day. And the rest of the day, they mostly over exaggerate the wait time on weekdays. If there aren't any que lines up outside of the regular line, the wait is very little.

We've always known to avoid harry potter areas at park opening. The crowd dies down a lot by the afternoon

It depends on what the crowds are like for the day . when we went if you didn’t go first thing you could miss out ... sometimes a couple hours after opening they move it to virtual queue and if you miss that virtual then you didn’t get to ride at all . We only got to ride by running first thing . We couldn’t get a virtual for the life of us .

They didn't offer virtual line the entire time we were there for Hagrids. We went there RIGHT AWAY on 3 separate mornings, we "took advantage" of the extra hour in the morning and realized that the line was extremely long right away so we did a bunch of other rides. We rode it EVERY DAY and never waited longer than 40 minutes as long as we went after 1/2:00. In fact, the line in the morning was LONGER than posted twice. EVERY TIME we went after 2, the wait time was much shorter than the posted time. Even on Friday night, when the parks had been busy all day- the line was less than 30 minutes (they said it was a 45 minute wait). We jumped in line many days in a row after 3/4 and waited 20-30 minutes.

The line appears very long when there's a 45 minute wait!!! Don't be fooled, it moves very quickly. We got in line when it started back by the Sinbad show theater. The line wound into the theater itself, all the way through the area and over to Hagrids. We waited less than 30 minutes. It was fun in the dark too.

During BUSY weekends, they're still doing virtual line and it may be difficult to get on. BUT, during the week, the line is MUCH WORSE before noon. And people get in line thinking that it's the shortest it'll be all day! NOPE. Wait! Go after 1/2 and you'll be in for a short wait that is JUST LONG ENOUGH to fully enjoy the theming of the line while you wait.
